I suck. Also, I hate myself. I'd go emo but it looks like way too much effort. As if wear black all summer long. I'd rather slit my own wrists [my irony alert is going off the scales]. So didn't get anything in the end. Way too many things got in the way and I'm too much of a dickhead to try too hard. Why can't I be more like Vince Grella. He's cool.

Not long left before school finishes now. Tensions run high as we do nothing but sing at school. So I'm kind of preparing myself for being pissed off like hell in the morning since my relatives from America are now coming to live with us. It's bad enough with just my grandma asking me stupid questions and then asking the same question but with different words, using water whenever I need to shower, filling the toilet with cigarette smoke and generally being where ever I need to be. Now I need to deal with 4 more people trying to make me explode. I hope I'm wrong though. Oh so very wrong. Best case scenario is that they wake up really late and I'm out of the house before they're up. But that's best case scenario. The very best case scenario.

Ashes are starting soon. WAY too soon. Actually, they're pretty well timed for me. All exams are over, school is no longer important and I can afford to spend hours on end in front of the television and bitching about the commentators. I don't know if this will be the greatest Test series I've ever seen, and I've only seen about 5. Without a doubt, the 2005 Ashes were the best. Closely followed by the series against New Zealand back in 2003 ending 0-0. Worst was probably my first, the West Indies one back in 2001. It was way too one sided. Australia were winning by an innings after making only 300. You know a team is playing like crap when they can't top 300 over 2 innings regularly. Plus Jimmy Adams was just a dud.

I need to think of more stuff to write. I promise, from now on entries will be planned and coherent. Also I'll start spelling sweet.

asking her number

There are so many things that make me angry. Making a list would be like trying to measure the temperature on the surface of the sun. Also, I find the most trivial things annoying and then once you realise how annoying the can be, then you'll get angry and I don't like being the reason behind angriness.

So I had an eventful week. Only 3 days of school, that's how I roll. Monday was boring as all hell. Didn't do ANYTHING at all except bitch and moan about nothing. Tuesday was Jamie's house. Highly eventful. Wednesday was unbelievable draining. Cool thing was that after 1 day of school, the week was already half over. Thursday was soccer day. I really need to find some self control and not play soccer till 3 every Thursday. Friday was long. Very long. Motivational speaker periods 1-5 and then soccer until 3. After that, I had to go to tutor and then dinner with relatives over from the U.S.A. Tutor was pretty meh. Doing chemistry exams when you've already finished exams may seem pointless, and it is. I need to think of a way of getting her number with out sounding too suss. I'd be direct but I like to screw around and sabotage myself. It's just who I am.

So on Friday at dinner, at Inodchine of all places, my grandma's brother and his wife gave me and my brothers US$20 each. Twenty US dollars. If the conversion rates are what I believe, that should be about AUS$30. Heck, if it was about 5 years ago, I could easily fetch $40. That would've been awesome. For me only though, not for the whole economy and stuff. So there are a number of things I could do with the money. I could buy ICC 2006 for the reasonable price of $30. Or I could just go buy a shirt or something. I don't know which need to fuel, the one for nerdy games or the one for fashionable clothes. Seems like the obvious choice doesn't it?

I've been desperately trying to make a resume over the past few days. I found this awesome ad for Bakers Delight in the paper and all they need is a resume. But I don't know who I should put as a reference, or if I should just leave that part out and be extremely sneaky. Truth is that I probably won't get the job, but its nice to dream.

I believe in the sentiment that you shouldn't write when you have noting to write. Don't say anything when you have nothing to say. But then if I followed that, all my posts would be 200 words long and you'd be extremely bored.

icc 2005

Bwahahahahaha. I've got this horrible addiction to International Cricket Captain 2005. I downloaded the demo like 2 years ago and then the crack and since then I've been playing it. It makes me wonder if the actual, store bought game is any different. Maybe I'll buy it one day when I have lots of the moneys. Anyway, I was just playing it and then this happened.

The cool thing was that before I started batted, I thought that I'd just keep batting until end of day 3, because I couldn't be stuffed batting twice. So I put my openers on 3 bars of aggression and then this happens. Highest scores for Will Jefferson and Saeed Bin-nasir, Jefferson's was the record highest for Yorkshire. Also first record partnership. Much funs. So I definitely feel that my Yorkshire list is possibly the greatest I've ever been able to put together. Here is my strongest XI [pretend no injuries and international duty]:

Best players are Jefferson, a run machine; Abdul Razzaq, never fails to supply vital wickets and valuable runs; Chris Tremlett, best English bowler not in the Test team and Monty Panesar, the second best English spinner after Ashley. And some names from the rest of the squad include James Foster [the man that played a couple Tests against Australia back in 2001] and Timmy Bresnan [Mr. Up-and-coming].

For those that play ICC 2005, here are some of the things that I always do and I hope you do too:
- Don't be afraid to pick up international English players, they might only have the opportunity to play a sum of 10 games or so for you but it is worth it
- Sri Lankan spinners are usually the best, invest in them
- If you start off with a weak team, go the 2 spinners and set your home pitch to suit the spinners, makes life a lot easier.
Now hear are players the best players in my opinion
Batsmen: Jaques [AUS], Jefferson, Pieterson, Strauss and Smith [SAF]
Allrounders: Q Friend [SAF], Watson [AUS], Oram [NZL], Tariq [PAK], any Indian/Sri Lankan spinning allrounder
Bowlers: Tremlett, Anderson, Cockburn [not really, he just has a funny name], any Sri Lankan spinner

I know each game is different but in my experience, these are the guys that work
